This product was featured at CES in 2017 though the client did not nominate it for an award. It is a personal CO Monitoring App made to work with an actual monitor that fits into a specially designed phone case.
I worked closely with the clients in the development of both the Industrial and Mobile App design of the products. The original app and product was released in 2017. Though the app was redesigned for 2020, it still retains many of the patterns, icons, and layout I created in 2016 but has reduced options. See Sparrow Sense at the App store and on Google Play Here. Design of the Sensor
I designed the sensor that fits into the Otterbox case in tandem to the app. I designed it to be versatile, and with ergonomics in mind. The top tab is designed to allow the sensor to be attached to a lanyard or keychain, but also gives a leverage point to push the sensor out of the phone case.
